Is this a physical product?
No. The launch editions are digital products delivered electronically. No physical item is shipped.
Is the planner fillable?
Yes. The Digital Edition includes interactive fields designed for compatible PDF software on computers and many tablets. Results can vary by device and app.
Can I print it?
Yes, for the uses permitted by your license.
Can I reuse the tour pages?
The Complete Bundle includes reusable tour, scorecard, and comparison files for your personal household search.
Is it only for first-time buyers?
No. It is designed for first-time, repeat, solo, paired, and relocating buyers.
Can two people use it together?
Yes. The planner is solo-first and provides optional second-buyer space where useful.
Does this replace my real estate agent or other professionals?
No. It organizes your thoughts, observations, questions, and memories. It does not replace professional advice or transaction documents.
What should I never enter?
Do not enter passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers, access codes, full account numbers, routing numbers, or wireable banking information.
Can I share the files?
Only as permitted by the license purchased. Personal editions are for one purchaser or household. The Digital Gift Edition permits one private gift to one recipient or household. The Real Estate Agent Digital License permits 5, 15, or 30 private client or household gifts, depending on the tier purchased.
How do I open, fill and save my planner?
- Download your files to your device. If you receive a ZIP, open it and extract the PDFs first.
- Keep the original blank files. Make a working copy for your search and a fresh copy of reusable tools for each property.
- Open the working PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click an existing field to type, use Tab to move between fields, and click circles or checkboxes to select them.
- Use Save As to save your working copy with a new name, such as My-Home-Journey.pdf. Save regularly.
- Close and reopen the saved copy, then confirm your first few entries remain before completing the rest.
What if a file will not open or my entries do not save?
Download the file again and open it directly in Acrobat Reader. Browser and email previews can behave differently. Keep entries short enough to remain visible and use another notes page for longer details. Keep your editable PDF when making a printed copy. See Adobe’s form instructions for help.
How can I get help with a download or older file?
Email support@thehomejourneyplanner.com with your order number, purchased edition, device/app name and the filename causing trouble. A screenshot of an empty test field can help. Do not send your completed planner or sensitive personal or financial information. Replacement files keep the license and recipient allowance of your original purchase.
